Nutrition Exercise Wellness- 6-10 week program
This is a completely new 'NEW YOU' program with updated nutrition research,
practical lifestyle techniques, and pilates/yoga components. Health
in Motion's NEW YOU program is an alternative to other weight reduction
programs that meet at work. This total health and wellness program meets
weekly and provides individualized plans as well as group motivation.
Weekly sessions include creating a diet that works for you, personal
fitness assessment and program design utilizing yoga, pilates, and natural
fitness. Whole food shopping, planning and cooking, plus healthy lifestyle
strategies to create the kind of authentic life you deserve.
Ten
Strategies to Shed Weight and Worries:
1-3 one-hour sessions
What are the worries that weigh you down? In this interactive workshop,
you will discover common paths of habit and negative self-talk that
lead toward destructive behavior. Effective daily strategies to redirect,
and reconnect us with our true paths of energetic, healthy and truly
rewarding life choices. You will learn specific techniques to increase
your energy and metabolism, reduce excess body weight, and manifest
your dreams into reality.
Goal
Setting with Yoga SPA:
Self, Potential, Action! - 1-3 one-hour sessions
When we think of goal setting, we usually think of hard work. This workshop
will inspire new growth and direction by helping you discover your true
self and actually nurturing your inner potential. As every great master
agrees, 'Everything we need to know is within us'. Learning how to tap
into our own wisdom is the first step toward creating change. We will
systematically go through the eight steps necessary toward realizing
our own plan for a healthier and happier life. Learn how to design goals
that matter and plans for successful acquisition through daily habits
and actions. Come with a few goals that you would like to work on!
Yoga
1-2-3:
Gentle Movement, Easy Breathing, and Simple Meditation- 6-10 week program
Getting started the right way with yoga has never been easier with this
beginner's guide through this classic practice. This program includes
the three main components of yoga; Asana (postures), Pranayama (breathing),
and Dhyana (meditation). Best of all this practice is designed to accommodate
beginners and can be performed anywhere. You will learn specific postures
to alleviate common back discomfort, fatigue, and headache, plus breathing
exercises to reduce anxiety, increase energy, and calm the mind, also
included is a simple meditation practice that you can do in just five
to ten minutes daily. This workshop guarantees profound results with
minimum effort. Participants may dress in their work clothing if they
choose.
Fine
Tune your Spine:
1-8 one-hour sessions
This workshop is for everyone that owns a spine. It seems we have all
experienced some back discomfort. Back problems are the number one reason
for absenteeism from work and play! Practical means are learned for
maintaining a healthy back, proper posture, stretching, and lifting.
Included is a guide with specific exercises to alleviate common concerns
and prevent new injuries. Please dress in comfortable clothing.
This class can be a one time workshop or an ongoing weekly 'back to
health' exercise program.

6-8 Week Movement/ Fitness Programs:
Pilates: Learn the fundamental pilates mat work program for core
training of abdominals, spine, and total body toning.
Yoga: Hatha yoga for beginner to intermediate students. Combines
easy to follow postures, breath, and body awareness.
Fitness Fusion: Combine natural fitness techniques with yoga
and pilates for a total mind/body workout and awakening.
Tai Chi: Indulge in this ancient art of health and fitness with
an expert to reduce stress, increase circulation and improve health.
Body Sculpting using bands and light weights: Increase overall
tone, reduce body fat, and improve strength.
Self Defense (for women and/or men): Easy to follow techniques
to avoid a potential attack and improve self-confidence.
Group Walking/Jogging: Progressive program that includes check-in
with a certified personal trainer, and training log.
Step Aerobics or traditional dance aerobics: Improve your cardio
vascular endurance, reduce fat and have fun! Hip/Hop: Learn the newest
MTV moves! Guaranteed to get you out of your fitness funk and impress
young family members.
Children and Seniors Fitness or Yoga: Designed for the 'young
at heart' these programs are fun and inspiring for all.
