Introduction to Holistic Yoga Therapy
This course is a foundation course for all other courses in the 300 hour Holistic Yoga Health Coach training.
You will learn to effectively use a variety of classic yoga practices to guide your clients toward improved health and well being, by developing and implementing the skills necessary to address their specific needs and desires.
Learn how to meet and hold space for your clients professionally and holistically, in individual and group settings. You will be trained in the 8 steps of transformation, providing you with the ability to help organize your clients progression toward developing new habits, and guiding them on their journey through all levels of the human experience in a yogic, holistic way.

For over 20 years, Joy Ravelli has led workshops, retreats, and yoga teacher trainings. Joy is the co-owner and founder of Purusha Studio and School in San Francisco, CA. She is also the founder of the Purusha Seva Project, a non profit organization that brings powerful yoga practices to underserved and at-risk populations throughout the Bay Area and the world. Joy has a master-level of experience and knowledge in the fields of natural fitness, somatic movement, thai yoga bodywork, martial arts, pilates, and classic yoga. She enjoys meditating and practicing with diverse people, places, animals, children and nature, while celebrating all the connected magic in this world.
Rachel is an IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist, Yoga Instructor and Educator in the Bay Area. With an eclectic background in creative arts, dance, psychology, and yoga Rachel facilitates expressive practices that incorporate somatic movement, reflection, and creativity providing an opportunity for healing and growth. Rachel is passionate about helping individuals to realize their strength, resiliency, and trust in themselves to guide them in making healthier life choices, increasing their capacity for joy and love in their lives. Rachel has practiced, studied, and taught various styles of yoga in Los Angeles, Thailand, Morocco, and her home base in San Francisco where she specializes in trauma-informed/sensitive yoga and small group settings.
