This course is a prerequisite for all other courses in the 300 hour Holistic Yoga Health Coach training.
You will learn to effectively use a variety of classic yoga practices to guide your clients toward improved health and wellbeing, by developing and implementing the skills necessary to address their specific needs and desires.
Learn how to meet and hold space for your clients professionally and holistically, in individual and group settings. You will be trained in the 8 steps of transformation, providing you with the ability to help organize your clients progression toward developing new habits, and guiding them on their journey through all levels of the human experience in a yogic, holistic way.
In this course you will learn:
Client relationship dynamics and initial assessment techniques
Focus/setting intentions and guided meditation
How to create, design and implement a complete program for your clients by working through specific case studies
Energy practices (pranayama/vayus)
Applied asanas for core strength, total body flexibility and tone, and a healthy spine
Healthy yoga lifestyle (Yamas/Niyamas)
Professional and business development
Proficiency with assessment tools, including endurance, flexibility, balance, breathing, sleep, muscular strength, posture and balanced lifestyle
Whole food eating plan
Course Fee: $800.00
This is a foundational prerequisite for the 300 hour Holistic Yoga Health Coach training.

with JOY RAVELLI
For over 20 years, Joy Ravelli has led workshops, retreats, and yoga teacher trainings. Joy is the co-owner and founder of Purusha Studio and School in San Francisco, CA. She is also the founder of the Purusha Seva Project, a non profit organization that brings powerful yoga practices to underserved and at-risk populations throughout the Bay Area and the world.
Joy has a master-level of experience and knowledge in the fields of natural fitness, somatic movement, thai yoga bodywork, martial arts, pilates, and classic yoga. She enjoys meditating and practicing with diverse people, places, animals, children and nature, while celebrating all the connected magic in this world. Read full bio

Lucia balances strength and softness in her teachings of Hatha Flow and Restorative Yoga, as well as in her Private Yoga Therapy and Thai Massage sessions.
She is known for her warm and loving presence, and her ability to hold space for others in their experiences. Lucia's teaching style encourages students to listen to the wisdom of their own bodies and find the practice that feels right for them, providing options for modifications as well as offerings for a more challenging practice.
Her goal is to provide students with a safe space to empower their deepest selves and truly enjoy the movement practice.
