WITH KATHY GEHLKIN
Kathy Gehlken started her yoga studies as a kid copying poses from her big sister’s “Lilias Yoga and You” book. She went on to study Yoga, Meditation and Ayurveda, eventually taking her teacher training in Ananda yoga and learning to meditate from a diverse group of teachers, both yogic and Buddhist. Kathy’s classes are inspired to help students access the joy and calm that she gets from her own personal practice. She is committed to making all aspects of yoga accessible to everyone and has had the honor of teaching yoga in a variety of settings—from hospitals to churches in the Tenderloin to one-on-one classes for breast cancer survivors.
