 Every session includes yoga practice, movement, discussion, breakout sessions and personal time with art or journaling.   

Session 1: Assessment & Goals

Assessing your current Goals, Eating Habits, Nutrition, Health & Well-Being.  

Session 2:  Beliefs & Knowledge

Exploring beliefs and learned behavior. Increasing intuitive knowledge as well as current research and science on Nutrition and Diets. 

Session  3: Establishing Ritual & Routine

Optimizing eating, movement, sleep and daily ritual.  Learning how to align our choices with our personal goals every day.    

Session 4: Growth Mindset, Body Positive.

Transforming our mindset.  Reframing obstacles and triggers into opportunities. 

Session 5: Expanding our reach

Cultivating a new relationship to food, culture, shopping, cooking.  Knowing where our food comes from and how our choices affect others.  

Session 6:  Celebrate & Connect

Celebrating our wellbeing and each other with food, family, and community. How food connects.   New Goals.

About your teacher, Joy Ravelli

CIAYT, ERYT 500, Health Educator

 

For over 25 years, Joy Ravelli has led workshops, retreats, and yoga teacher training. Joy is the co-owner and founder of The Purusha Yoga School in San Francisco, CA. She is also the founder of the Purusha Seva Project, a nonprofit organization that brings powerful yoga practices, movement, fitness, nutrition, and health to underserved and at-risk populations throughout the Bay Area and the world.

Joy brings a powerful sense of authenticity, humor, light, and natural wisdom to her work, encouraging students to explore, discover and express their true self (Purusha) in a safe and deeply inspiring atmosphere.

Joy was a Health Educator and Nutrition Specialist for 10 years providing Workshops and programs at HMO's Cigna and Blue Cross.  She has coached hundreds of individuals and groups on the benefits of a healthy diet and lifestyle.
