Looking for an exciting, movement-based mindful camp for your kids this summer? 

Look no further! In this camp, your kiddos will experience a compassionate, exciting environment rich with plenty of opportunities to move their bodies with yoga, dance, Capoeira, and more! There will be a big focus on yoga games, team building, and creating community connection within our yogi camp members. 

Weather permitting, we will spend most of our days outside in Golden Gate Park or out on Ocean beach playing in the sand. This program has a strong emphasis on social/emotional development, understanding and loving the Self, and creating community connection between its mindful yogi camp members and leaders. 


Sample schedule: 

9:00-9:15 Arrive & Welcome Circle (Purusha Yoga Studio) 

9:15-9:45 Yoga & breathing practices

9:45-10:00 Yoga game

10:00-10:15 rest

10:15-10:45 snack

10:45-11:15 Excursion (beach, park, buffalo range, etc., weather permitting)

11:15-11:45 Yoga games (outside, weather permitting)

11:45-12:30 Lunch & break (outside, weather permitting)

12:30-12:45 Closing circle

12:45-1:00 Rest/Get ready to leave


Please bring: 

Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, layers (labeled with names), shoes, socks, snack, lunch, water

Meghan Hanebutt, M. Ed, 200+ RYT lives and breathes yoga and education. She has been a classroom teacher, an elementary school principal, a yoga instructor, a designer, a small business owner, and currently, an educational consultant and yoga teacher for kids. She is the founder behind The Present Classroom and she has taught yoga in the San Francisco Unified School District and private school sector. She believes in the power of conscious classroom community and works with educational teams to weave wellness, mindfulness, and kindness into the threads of their daily routines. She also works one-on-one with teachers, administrators, and parents to strategically implement self-care practices into their lives, so that they can show up in authenticity and presence for the children that they serve.

Meghan lives in San Francisco with her partner Steven and their dog Wilson. She loves the sunshine and the sea, and she occasionally dabbles in photography, design, and poetry. Read more
