Mika Sanfilippo

Mika is a graduate of Purusha Yoga School and has been teaching yoga since her graduation in March 2015. Mika moves with the wind, traveling the world and living in various places, but she has always found her home in yoga. Yoga taught her what it meant to find contentment in the present moment, and how to ground in your body with the breath. Mika is inspired by the pure love and light present in every human being, and she strives to weave this love throughout her classes. Her teaching style is lively and enthusiastic; she encourages her students to bring authenticity to their movement, bearing witness to the beautiful transformation that comes with consistent practice. She gladly welcomes all levels, and teaches a variety of poses and modifications that are suitable to each student’s needs. When she’s not teaching, Mika still travels and has made it a personal goal to visit all 7 continents. She loves being immersed in nature, and appreciates a quality acai bowl. She is also available for one-on-one yoga sessions,Thai Yoga Bodywork, Reiki, and Yoga Therapy.
