Whether you are a seasoned yoga teacher or a lifelong seeker of knowledge, the philosophy of classic yoga most likely has been a source of great inspiration and contemplation in your life.
In this course, we will dive into the ancient sacred texts that constitute the foundational literature for the teaching of non-duality (Advaita Vedanta). The purpose of this series is to provide an understanding and experience of this sublime wisdom, while also giving you a larger schematic of the Vedic and post-Vedic periods of yogic thoughts.
The workshop format includes exposition, question-answers, practical applications, and guided meditations. Each workshop in this series will focus on a specific topic from the most treasured texts of yoga including; The Upanishads, Tantras, The Bhagavad Gita and The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
Students will gain a familiarity with the evolution of the teachings and philosophy of the yoga tradition and its relevance and application to yoga therapy as well as personal yogic lifestyle.
The ancient knowledge contained within the philosophy of yoga is rich with insights, practices and ageless wisdom that informs the modern lifestyle in a profound and explosively transformative way. Experience the secrets within these texts that are designed to activate an understanding of ultimate human potential.
