Tasi, is originally from Maui, Hawaii and has been practicing yoga for over 10 years. She completed the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Purusha in 2014 and is currently enrolled in the 300 Hour program.
Aliitasi (Tasi) was drawn to yoga as a way to find relief for stress and anxiety. It was through various yoga practices that she found a passion for restorative yoga where there is an opportunity to slow down the mind and body, connect with the breath and heart to experience release.
She incorporates gentle pranayama and meditation into her restorative yoga class to create a nurturing space to relax, release and restore.
